I'm a multidisciplinary researcher and strategist, drawn to complex human problems and to understanding people well enough to build things that belong in their lives and the systems they move through. I do my best work at the front of the process, before the problem is defined, when we're still working out what we should be solving in the first place.
My practice pulls from ethnography, world-making, behavioral design, systems thinking, design thinking, co-participatory design, and speculative design. Together they push me to look past what people say to how they actually live and decide, to map the larger system a product sits inside, and to picture the futures we could be building toward. The closer I stay to people and what they're up against, the clearer the path forward gets.
I currently lead research across Triple Whale's AI ecosystem, where I keep customers close to the decisions behind it. To do that, I stood up the company's first co-participatory design program, bringing them directly in. That research defined the user needs and the experience and design principles now guiding the next generation of chat-led and automated AI. It also led me to map the full service journey, from sales through renewal, expansion, and churn, across the front and back end. That map showed the teams where to improve their process, helped customers feel better supported start to finish, and flagged where the product gets in the way of being more self-serve and intuitive.
Before Triple Whale, I set up and led the experience research function at Lotic.ai as its first researcher, running the first primary studies and writing the white papers that gave design, product, and science teams a shared language. Earlier, at Creative Science, I helped healthcare and technology clients shape product vision and design for behavior change, using stakeholder research, workshops, and behavioral models tested with real users.
The thread through all of it, from well-being tools to civic participation to AI, is a belief that good work starts with understanding people deeply, and that what we build should serve them and fit into the worlds they already live in.
